LGBT

WIN's LGBT Network works to enhance the professional, political, and social lives of WIN's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and allied members and to advocate for LGBT rights.  The network seeks to create community for LGBT and allied WINners, to build individuals' confidence as LGBT people and allies in professional and activist settings, and to expand understanding of LGBT issues within the WIN community.

The LGBT Network's diverse programming includes policy briefings on issues important to the LGBT community, cultural events such as beer tastings and drag performances, professional and personal development workshops, athletic events both as participants and as spectators, participation in the annual Capital Pride Parade, and any other events of interest to members.
